Make a Guyanese dish Danny. That would be fun! Maybe Roti, dahl, doubles, pelau(not sure if pelau is something Guyanese makes), etc…

Cristina Garcia · February 5, 2020 at 7:45 am

I always add soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, bay leaf and pepper corn then marinade for an hour. Separate chicken from marinade then fry till golden brown both side. then add the reserve marinade and continue to cook. Its super yummy

Reiq · February 5, 2020 at 7:45 am

Ryan Jackson · February 5, 2020 at 7:45 am

Hi Ryan's mom here in Scotland what about some Haggis, Mashed potatoes and Turnips oooh yeah💓👍

tof rodriguez · February 5, 2020 at 7:45 am

Any sugar will do for a litlle bit of sweetness to balance the saltiness of the soy sauce . You can also add hard boiled eggs. Add it when it is almost done so that the egg will absorb the color. Try cooking chicken tinola. The best during cold weather.🇵🇭

hgh gthg · February 5, 2020 at 7:45 am

We add boiled eggs, bay leaves, coke (instead of brown sugar) to our adobo. 🙂 also, you didn't wash the chix before marinating? next to cook is kare-kare. 🙂 or turon (banana wrapped with jackfruit on a spring roll wrapper fried and then sprinkled with brown sugar) or banana cue (fried banana with brown sugar)

Solargarden09 · February 5, 2020 at 7:45 am

I’ve had pork adobo, but not chicken. Thank you for always sharing easy to follow recipes, and explaining them so well. Not to mention the fun in between. Always enjoy the tasting after. When I marinate foods I put them in a ziplock bag and squeeze out all the air, so it coats on both sides. And if you do need to flip it, just flip the whole bag over.

Suzie Hinds · February 5, 2020 at 7:45 am

Yummy

BERTO YTV · February 5, 2020 at 7:45 am

I used to add liverspred ,brown sugar, and pepper

Rodora Devera · February 5, 2020 at 7:45 am

And you need to add black pepper

hanah reid · February 5, 2020 at 7:45 am

My mom makes hers with bone in without the sugar but I usually make it with boneless. I add potatoes, sugar, whole peppercorns, bay leaf and red pepper flakes ; with the leftovers I shred it and make it into tacos.

Mitchii Universe · February 5, 2020 at 7:45 am

You can also add lemon juice and sprite if you don't have brown sugar. I think you're 1 or 2 herb short, crack black pepper and laurel leaf. 🇵🇭

Joshua Aranguren · February 5, 2020 at 7:45 am

Meghan Sanchez · February 5, 2020 at 7:45 am

Jordan Ingle · February 5, 2020 at 7:45 am

If you cover the pan while it’s cooking you won’t lose as much liquid. Good job guys.

Enigma 501 · February 5, 2020 at 7:45 am

Yummy wow

jamir araga · February 5, 2020 at 7:45 am

New subscriber here, u just did the basic adobo. That’s good. The additions of hard boiled eggs, fried chunky potatoes ( on the latter part of cooking) are done to make it enough for bigger families but it’s a good addition. To level up the taste u can add,,,, 2-3laurel leaves(dried or fresh) and whole black peppercorns. Instead of water u can add pineapple juice for sweeter taste which Filipinos really love. Thanks for embracing your filing audience, sure Filipinos will love you more.

Erin McCarthy · February 5, 2020 at 7:45 am

I LOVE onions. Growing up I would pick them out of the garden and eat them like an Apple with some salt. I still love them. I don't eat them like an Apple anymore but I do put them in almost everything I cook. The more onions the better!

Vicky Taylor · February 5, 2020 at 7:45 am

I would love to see you do a typical English dish like cottage pie (minced beef with finely chopped root vegetables cooked with gravy, and Worcestershire sauce) topped with cheesy, buttery mashed potato which you then brown. Or a good beef or chicken stew with English style dumplings. Or even fish and chips.
