1/2 cup roasted rice flour
2 green chilies
1 carrot
handful of coriander leaves
1/2 tsp jeera
1/2 onion
pink himalyan salt as needed
unrefined oil as needed
water as needed

Nice recipe dear…& i feel one can eat this with nice dollops of butter or ghee…or ketchup …if no chutney.
In our fly.we prefer to eat doshas with butter wen no coconut chutney is made…it tastes good..the youngsters today would love to have with cheese also

Thank you for your interesting experiments in various cuisines. Could you please tell me what the size of the cast iron tawa, that you have used for akki roti, is? Another question, isn't A2 ghee a bit too expensive? I believe that you were referring to the Amore Earth product.

This recipe goes much near to Maharastrian dish called 'thaalipith'. But thaalipith is made with different flours of different cereals /millets to bring in the health and taste benefits. It's eaten with curd/ Marathi pickles. I would suggest bajra/jwar/raagi flour instead of rice flour in this recipe, especially for western and North Indians.

We make this all the time at home. You can also make this with raagi. One of the best breakfast dishes. You can use banana leaf instead of the wet towel.
