Omena are actually dried anchovies and not sardines. Love this recipe ❤️

Iam- Martins · August 28, 2019 at 2:43 am

That's mouth watering! I do it differently myself. Wash with hot water, squeeze 2 lemons and then run the cold water, and let it literary drain water to a point of dry. Add oil on a hot pan, add crashed garlic cook and as it starts turning colour to golden brown add onions to golden brown and garlic, then spices, sliced tomatoes before adding paste.then add like 2 cups of hot boiling water and then add the omena. Let it simmer on low heat. Notice not so much stirring because then you crash then and the end result is like you having soggy omena. You want to be delicate with it so they retain shape and form. Well done you. I hadly have time for this kind of posts but for some reason I keep coming back to your channel. Hongera
