Huli Huli is Hawaiian for “Spin Spin!” So we are spinning up some ribs! And you just can’t beat, my spinning meat! Here is the recipe for the Huli sauce. I forgot to show the Sriracha in the video! OOOPs!
½ cup ketchup
½ cup of soy sauce
½ cup packed light or dark brown sugar
¼ cup rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
1 (1-inch) piece fresh ginger, peeled and finely grated
2 to 3 garlic cloves, peeled and finely grated
2 tablespoons of Sriracha
For the Rub I used my Rootboy Rub #2 which has
Salt
Pepper
Onion
Chili powder
Smoked paprika
Ginger
Cumin
Dry mustard.
