Hershey’s Best Brownies! This is one of my favorite Hershey’s recipes! (The ones shown are using Tammy’s tips in the ingredient captions for fudgy type using 1/2 cup flour instead of 1 cup and 1 cup cocoa instead of 3/4 cup of cocoa) These brownies turn out perfect every time and they are a hit at my house! Enjoy these today with some vanilla ice cream. Yummy!

DO YOU REMEMBER that good old southern cooking? When I was growing up, my granny was my favorite cook. My mama was an amazing cook as well, but there was just something about being in granny’s kitchen. We all gathered around the table when we went to her house.
I have made it so easy for you to learn how to cook like my granny and mama did with cooking tutorials for each and every recipe in our cookbooks. You can see how to order these by visiting us on our website. Oh and no difficult to find or crazy ingredients! Just simple ingredients and really good food.
Hey yall!, it’s Tammy with Collard Valley Cooks! I am a southern girl born in raised in Collard Valley in Polk County Georgia. My entire (Benefield) family had around 150 acres and we mostly raised cattle. We went to church on Sunday, school during the week, the grocery store on Friday’s and that was our life. No vacations, no camping, just plain old southern country people

Hi I was wondering if you noticed the change in the Hershey's cocoa. They claim it's "Dutch Processed" whatever the heck that means. All I know is it's very red in color and does not have the same rich chocolate taste. What do you think?

My Grand Daughter and I were looking for a recipe to make brownies, we used your recipe and they are delicious. I put the walnuts on top instead of in the batter.

Miss Tammy why do my brownies sink in the middle? I try so hard I don’t know what I’m doing wrong please help?

L B · August 28, 2019 at 10:38 pm

Tammy, I put the nuts on top of my brownies, too. It seems obvious to me; toasted nuts taste way better than nuts buried in the batter. Besides, they look so pretty on top

Those look delicious. Now I have to go make some. ~ Lisa
