I prepared it. I did not like it and I wanted to feed my dog, but he ran away and for three days I was looking for him. Now, he is afraid to come in the kitchen and even dry food is eating very carefuly. When he sees the bacon he howls loudly.

Trust me. It will break your teeth chewing up or cracking up the skin. The cracking sound is from the knife. Your teeth won't measure up. The reason is quite simple. There is no way that you can crack up the skin without removing ALL THE MOISTURES from the skin first.

Why did you cut into the meat and not the rind? I was taught cutting the meat can cause it to get dry, whereas cutting the rind will help it to get cripsy..
